I couldn't stop laughing... she pounced on it from behind the rolling chair, batted at it, then watched it stagger across the dining room.
I felt sorry for it after a while, so I carefully gathered it in a tissue and threw it out the front door. However, 3 hours later it was still out there when I left, so I think Mia might have roughed it up a little too much. I'm surprised she didn't eat it.
Anyway, the weekend was fine. I missed a certain wedding reception, which bummed me out to no end. But unfortunately I'd planned for it the previous weekend and had all of our house appointments set for this past Saturday. But the good news is that we have our closet designs picked out and all of our room colors, too. Blah blah blah.
The triplets have been gone for a full week now. (I never wrote about it, but they moved to PA with Sarah's Mom temporarily. She's going to find them homes. I cried for 2 days.) Cora's stopped crying in the middle of the night, which is good. She did it for 4 days after they left and I had to go in the cat room at 3:30 a.m., cradle her in my arms and pet her to sleep. She's sweet and I'm glad she's feeling better. Plus I'm relieved to be getting more sleep. Ugh.
