On Tuesday evening Sue, myself and several of her friends went to the Knitting Factory in NYC to see Trina Hamlin perform. Sue is probably Trina's biggest fan, so it's always fun to go with her and see how googly-eyed she gets.
I had a lot of traffic getting to NY that afternoon, so I made us VERY late to the show. Sue is very shy, so I decided to make it up to her by requesting Trina pose for the above picture with us.
"Excuse me," I tapped Trina on the shoulder.
"Hi," she smiled.
"Hi," I grinned back. "Can you please take a picture with us?"
"You want me to take a picture of you together?" she asked.
I laughed at her. "Honey, we paid good money to see your ass. You're gettin' right between us!"
"Paid to see my ass?" she said. "Okay." She turned and bent over, wiggling her butt.
"Helloooooo!" I said.
Several minutes later Sue bought Trina's new CD. When she returned with it I said, "Did you ask her to sign it?"
"No," she gasped. "I can't do that!"
"Shame on you," I scolded. "Give me that."
I went up to Trina's little table and she looked up. "Well, hello again!"
"Hey there." Then I asked her to sign the CD with a specific inscription.
A few minutes later I marched back over to Sue. "Here you go!"
Sue was thrilled to see that it said, "To Susan, My #1 stalker! -Trina" And she drew a smiley next to the word "stalker."
"See?" I gloated. "Told you I'd make it up to you!"
Sue and I went to high school together, so we've shared lots of laughs over the years. I'm looking forward to the next Trina Stalking installment, hopefully in Boston...
