Yes, that's me dressed as the Crazy Cat Lady for Halloween yesterday! I think I had even more fun being her than I did last year as Miss Swan!
Tina and I hung out with her little cousins in the evening. Definitely a great time!

Me again... Everyone kept laughing at my little cats.
Halloween is tiring business!
All in all it was a good time. I arrived a lot later than I'd anticipated because the traffic was so bad. I was also in full costume for the drive so I got some interesting looks when cars would stop next to me.
In other news, I rowed in the Head of the Charles with the Gentle Giant Rowing Club the weekend before last. It was a great day and my parents even came up for it! They watched my team row by with Tina's Aunt & Uncle, which was so cute. I could hear them all cheering as we passed under the bridge they were standing on.
Goooooooo....
...GIANTS!

And speaking of Northeastern, the Varsity coach gave me a new team jacket because mine from when I was in school has, well... it's so worn out that that the back now it reads: "or heast rn C ew."
Woo hoooo! Go Huskies!
And when it's all said and done, nothing nothing says a race well rowed on a Fall day than a fresh baked apple crisp!
Shocked? So was I! I'm not sure what came over me, but I had a sudden urge to bake. And BOY was it good! Especially when I topped it with caramel and vanilla ice cream!
On the subject of "trying new things," I played in my first official ice hockey game ever this past Saturday. I wasn't too bad! I did have a lot of trouble figuring out where to stand for the random face-offs throughout the game, but my teammates and the refs were really helpful.
We ended up losing 4 to 3, but it was pretty close. I'll likely be joining the team I played on for the whole season, so I'm looking forward to becoming a better player. Stay tuned...!
